Skopje, 5 February 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski is set to pay a working visit to Australia from February 6 to February 13, marking the first visit by a Macedonian foreign minister to the country after 15 years.  

In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said Mucunski is expected to meet with the Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Penny Wong.

Mucunski is also expected to have activities for economic promotion of the country, as well as numerous meetings with businessmen and representatives of the business sector. As part of the visit, Mucunski is expected to meet with Macedonian and Australian businessmen, as well as members of Australia's Parliamentary Friendship Group with North Macedonia.

“The visit will also focus on meetings with representatives of the Macedonian diaspora in Australia. The Minister will give an interview in Macedonian for SBS Radio, in which he will touch upon the current policies and priorities in the relations between the two countries,” the Ministry said.
