Skopje, 4 February 2025 (MIA) - The European Front coalition wasn’t created for a single electoral cycle, it represents a larger vision for a shared country that will reflect our heterogenous society, DUI spokesperson Arber Ademi told journalists Tuesday, adding that consultations are already underway over a joint participation of the parties in the DUI-led European Front at the upcoming local elections.
Asked about SDSM leader Venko Filipche’s statement that the party wouldn't form a coalition with DUI, Ademi stressed that DUI “has always had a partnership with the citizens”.
“We have always had a partnership with the citizens, so we will continue that partnership with the citizens, and as always, DUI and the European Front will be the biggest winners at the local elections,” Ademi said.
Quizzed about the country’s Euro-integrations and whether he expects the Government to initiate contacts with the new Bulgarian Government, Ademi stressed the country’s tasks are clearly defined in the negotiating framework, and it should have focused on their implementation.
“Not today, not tomorrow, it should have been done yesterday, the day before yesterday we should have been focusing on the fulfillment of all our tasks to secure a European future for all citizens. That is the sole option for our shared homeland,” Ademi said.
