Skopje, 5 September 2024 (MIA) — Out of the 18 wildfires reported to the Crisis Management Center by 7 pm, nine are still burning, the CMC said in a press release.

Pine forest, brush and grasses are burning in the Municipality of Prilep, near the villages of Shtavica, Krushevica, Peshtani and Prilepec.

A forest fire has spread around the village of Oraov Dol in the Municipality of Chashka. 

Another forest fire is burning in the municipality of Chucher-Sandevo, at Ramno near ​​the village of Tanushevci.

A brush fire is burning in the Municipality of Petrovec, near the villages of Breznica, Gradmanci and Katlanovo.

Trees and grass are burning in the Municipalities of Dolneni and Saraj, near the villages of Desovo and Bukovikj.

A scrub fire is burning in the Tetovo village of Novakje, and there is a brush fire burning in Romanovce near Kumanovo.

Scrub and grasses are burning in the Municipality of Shtip, near the villages of Hadzhi Hamzali, Edeklerci, and Toplik, and the Krivolak military training ground. mr/
