Andonovski meets UAE Government’s cybersecurity chief Al Kuwaiti
- Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski, who is paying a three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he attends the World Governments Summit 2025, met with Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government and UAE Cybersecurity Council.

Skopje, 12 February 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski, who is paying a three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he attends the World Governments Summit 2025, met with Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government and UAE Cybersecurity Council.
According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the interlocutors discussed protection in the field of cybersecurity, international cooperation in addressing hybrid attacks and cyber threats.
“Al Kuwaiti is known for bringing the UAE into the top five most protected countries against cyberattacks. Dr. Al Kuwaiti also leads numerous initiatives that have set Guinness World Records for raising awareness about cybersecurity and organizing the largest cybersecurity drills, significantly increasing the nation's resilience in cyberspace,” reads the press release.
Regarding the meeting, Andonovski said that discussions with people like Al Kuwaiti have made a significant contribution, and that they talked “about directions for improving protection against such attacks.”
“I am glad that the memorandum of cooperation in this field is in an advanced phase, and I hope we will sign it soon. This will determine our cooperation for the entire future period,” Andonovski said.
