Belgrade, 17 March 2025 (MIA) — The Macedonian ambassador to Serbia, Nikola Tupanchevski, will visit the injured in the Kochani nightclub fire who have been taken to Belgrade's Emergency Center and the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade for medical treatment, MIA's Belgrade correspondent reports.

A book of condolences has been opened at the Macedonian embassy in the Serbian capital. Many Belgrade citizens have been lighting candles in front of the embassy since Sunday.

Nine burn patients were admitted Sunday night to the Emergency Center in Belgrade. Two of them are in the intensive care unit and one has life-threatening injuries.

Another three patients were taken from Skopje to the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade Sunday night on a Serbian military aircraft. mr/
