Skopje, 10 March 2026 (MIA) - State Statistical Office data shows that exports of agricultural products reached EUR 416.7 million in 2025, an increase of about EUR 85 million compared to the previous year, says Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Cvetan Tripunovski.

Minister Tripunovski told Telma that imports also saw a slight increase.

"In 2024, imports stood at EUR 177 million, rising to EUR 202 million in 2025. Nevertheless, there is an export-import surplus of about EUR 215 million," says Tripunovski.

According to him, the sector of primary agriculture production plays a key role in total exports.

"Export of food products was about EUR 414 million, meaning that agriculture exports take top spot with EUR 416 million," notes Tripunovski.
