Deputy Europe minister: Hungary supports EU integration
- Deputy Minister of European Affairs Viktorija Trajkov hosted Friday a delegation of Hungarian officials led by Hungary's Deputy State Secretary for European Affairs Balázs Molnár for talks on strengthening bilateral cooperation regarding the country's accession process with the European Union.
Skopje, 27 March 2026 (MIA) — Deputy Minister of European Affairs Viktorija Trajkov hosted Friday a delegation of Hungarian officials led by Hungary's Deputy State Secretary for European Affairs Balázs Molnár for talks on strengthening bilateral cooperation regarding the country's accession process with the European Union.
According to the Ministry of European Affairs in a press release, Trajkov said the government was focused on implementing reforms and speeding up the EU membership process. She highlighted the importance of the EU member states' continued support.

Meeting participants pledged to work together more closely, with Hungary offering to provide expert help in the country's management of EU funds and financial policies.
Both sides discussed current geopolitical challenges and agreed that regional stability was key to joining the EU. They also promised to exchange experiences and best practices and keep communication lines open between their institutions. mr/
