Unions to protest if Gov’t doesn’t increase minimum wage, says union leader

The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia (SSM) said it would hold protests in April if there is no agreement for an increase to the national minimum wage. At a press conference Monday, the head of SSM, Slobodan Trendafilov, condemned political attacks on the union and said SSM would not allow the workers to be placed in a subservient role.
