Washington, 13 March 2026 (dpa/MIA) - US President Donald Trump issued a new warning to Tehran early on Friday, implying further military action in the ongoing conflict.

"Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today," he wrote on his Truth Social platform.

Despite earlier comments suggesting the war with Iran could end soon because there was "practically nothing left to target," Trump now emphasized US military endurance: "We have unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time."

He reiterated that Iran's navy and air force had been destroyed and that its missiles, drones and other capabilities were being decimated.

His remarks came as tensions between Washington and Tehran remain high following a series of strikes and counterstrikes across the Middle East.

On Tuesday, Trump had already threatened Iran with heavy bombing if it attempted to block the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most critical oil export routes, stating that military consequences would be "at a level never seen before."
