Skopje, 20 March 2025 (MIA) - Health Minister Arben Taravari says rehabilitation of the young people injured in the Kochani nightclub fire will be a long process and they will do everything to minimize the consequences.

"The process will not be weeks-long but go on for months. We need to be careful in making the right decisions because these are mainly children, most of them are 15–25 years old, who care a lot about the appearance. The Ministry of Health and the Government will do everything to minimize the consequences for the survivors so they live a normal life once they come back to the country," Minister Taravari told TV21.

Taravari says neighboring countries offered their facilities for treatment and the most severe cases were sent there.

"We took some to Greece, others in Sofia and several in Serbia. This freed up space and we were able to take in the patients from Kochani and Shtip," notes Taravari.
