Skopje, 15 December 2025 (MIA) - Members of Parliament from ruling parties VMRO-DPMNE, Vlen, and ZNAM submitted Monday a resolution to Parliament condemning the “opposition’s manipulations” and reaffirming policies against illegal migration. VMRO-DPMNE's parliamentary whip Nikola Micevski said the nine-point resolution puts an end to the “manipulative topic” concerning migrants.
According to Micevski, the resolution condemns any manipulative behavior and puts an end to all speculation and false manipulation about the alleged acceptance of migrants and the construction of migrant camps in the country. He said the resolution also clearly and unequivocally outlines a migration policy framework.
“After the spreading of fake news, lies and manipulation by SDSM. VMRO-DPMNE, as a state-building party, has drafted a resolution which will once and for all put an end to SDSM’s fabricated topic about migrants. With this resolution, we are affirming that the government and Parliament will never allow any negotiations on migrants. The citizens should be calm, VMRO-DPMNE is looking after the security of the people,” Micevski said.
Micevski said the resolution was submitted to Parliament on Monday and is expected to be on the agenda as early as Tuesday.
Regarding SDSM’s resolution on the same issue, Micevski said VMRO-DPMNE's parliamentary group does not believe the opposition has honest intentions, which is why they are submitting their own resolution, "outlining all the necessary elements".
