Skopje, 20 January 2025 (MIA) - Regardless of his escape, the procedure in the (State Lottery) case involving (former deputy prime minister) Artan Grubi and the other suspect continues, and the public will be duly informed, said Chief Prosecutor Ljupcho Kocevski on Monday.

Prosecutor Kocevski also said that an investigation is yet to be launched on judge Enver Bexheti, who the United States has designated for significant corruption by accepting bribes to undermine judicial processes tied to the criminal conviction of former secret police chief Sasho Mijalkov.

"There is a pre-investigation, evidence is collected and the public will be informed accordingly," Kocevski told reporters.    

Regarding the veracity of English language certificate of National Security Agency (NSA) director Bojan Hristovski, the Chief Prosecutor said they are waiting on a response from Bulgaria whether the certificate had been issued by a registered school or institution in that country.

"As soon as we get the response, we will proceed and take a decision," said Kocevski.
