Mucunski participates in NATO Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Brussels

Brussels, 3 December 2024 (MIA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, is attending the meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on December 3-4.

The agenda for the ministerial meeting includes discussions on NATO's current security challenges, developments in the Alliance's southern neighbourhoods, the ongoing situation with Russia's aggression against Ukraine, and the progress in implementing the decisions made at the NATO Summit in Washington this July.

The working session of the meeting will begin with a gathering of the North Atlantic Council at the level of foreign ministers, which will also be attended by King Abdullah II of Jordan. The main topic of discussion will be developments in the Middle East and their security implications for NATO.

Concluding the first day of the meeting, a NATO-Ukraine Council working dinner will be held, with the participation of Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiha.

The NATO ministerial meeting will resume December 4 with a session of the North Atlantic Council, during which, among other topics, preparations for the 2025 NATO Summit in the Hague will be discussed.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Minister Mucunski is scheduled to hold several bilateral meetings with his counterparts attending the meeting.
