Minister Murtezani meets EEAS official Maasikas, discuss cooperation in EU integration process
- Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani met Tuesday in Brussels with Matti Maasikas, Managing Director for Europe at the European External Action Service (EEAS), highlighting the importance of strategic relations between North Macedonia and the European Union, as well as the Union's continued support for the reform process and the country's integration.
Skopje, 4 February 2025 (MIA) - Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani met Tuesday in Brussels with Matti Maasikas, Managing Director for Europe at the European External Action Service (EEAS), highlighting the importance of strategic relations between North Macedonia and the European Union, as well as the Union's continued support for the reform process and the country's integration.
Murtezani and Maasikas discussed current challenges in the region and beyond, strengthening of institutional cooperation and implementation of the European agenda, the Ministry of European Affairs said in a press release.
Minister Murtezani accentuated North Macedonia's commitment to reforms and regional stability, noting that the country continues to be a constructive partner in the accession process.
Managing Director Maasikas reaffirmed EEAS' support to North Macedonia while highlighting the importance of enhanced cooperation in key areas related to EU integration, reads the press release.
