Shtip, 5 March 2026 (MIA) - In response to a reporter's question in relation to the case of the mother and child who fell to their death from a high-rise building in the Skopje municipality of Karposh, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski urged all victims of domestic violence to report it, stick by the report and not withdraw it, because if the report is withdrawn, then social work centers and the Ministry cannot do anything about it.
"A tragedy beyond words. I regret that this has happened in the past, that it is happening still and I assume that we will see such events in the future. But we need to bring that number down. As a state and as a Government, we are fully committed to standing by the victims of this type of deviant behavior every step of the way. I urge all victims of deviant behavior not to back down once they report it," said Mickoski during Thursday's visit to Shtip.
In response to a reporter's question about SDSM's demand for resignation of Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski over the tragedy in Karposh, the PM said the opposition has been demanding resignations from everyone every day.
