Skopje, 14 February 2026 (MIA) — Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on a visit to Munich met Saturday with Ted Deutch, CEO of the American Jewish Committee, a global advocacy organization for the Jewish people and Israel promoting human rights and democratic values.

According to Mickoski, the meeting focused on deepening cooperation, joint initiatives aimed at protecting human rights, promoting interreligious dialogue and building a society based on respect, tolerance and freedom.

“Our vision is clear — strong partnerships, clear values and a secure future for our citizens,” Mickoski said.

Mickoski is leading a Macedonian delegation to the Munich Security Conference including Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski.

On the sidelines of the conference, the government delegation is meeting with EU representatives as well as with heads of state and government. During the talks, the PM is reaffirming the country's position on the need for a predictable and fair process of accession to the European Union, without additional bilateral conditions. mr/
