Jani Bojadzhi's 'Tomorrow Morning' to have national premiere

Skopje, 19 November 2025 (MIA) — Macedonian filmmaker Jani Bojadzhi's political drama "Tomorrow Morning" (2025) will have its national premiere at Cineplexx Wednesday evening.

According to the director, who also wrote the screenplay, "Tomorrow Morning" was inspired by real events between 2014 and 2017.

"Two women — a young doctor and the wife of a former prime minister — are trying to escape the grip of the American government and European diplomats, who are playing their game of power and torture in a small country in Eastern Europe," according to an IMDb summary.

"The plot of the story is the fatal April 27, 2017 and deals with the question of what comes after that," Bojadzhi said.

He said the story revolved around "two families facing the consequences of the decisions made by the so-called heads of the families – the fathers, men of a certain age of any nationality and religion in Macedonia, unprepared to face the fact that the consequences of their decisions are most often borne by their own families as well as others," Bojadzhi said.

"The film is dedicated to all women in Macedonia ready to protect their families and their communities," he said.

The cast consists of Nina Dean, Irena Ilievska, Goce Andonov, Jana Nikodinovska, Keti Donchevska Ilikj, Bajram Severdzhan, Goran Stojanoski, Vasil Zafirchev, Robert Veljanovski, Blagoj Veselinov, Jana Veljanovska and Dimitrina Mickoska.

After the Skopje premiere, the film will be screened at movie theaters in Shtip, Veles, Bogdanci, Struga and Kriva Palanka.

"Tomorrow Morning" was produced by Cinnamon Media Factory and Revolution Production in cooperation with Alfa TV. mr/
