Skopje, 10 May 2024 (MIA) – President of the Republic of Hungary, Tamás Sulyok, extended friendly congratulations on the election of Gordana Siljanovska Davkova as president.

"Congratulations to Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova on her election as the new President of the Republic of North Macedonia. I look forward to our collaboration and to strengthening our relations," the Hungarian President's message states.

Siljanovska Davkova expressed gratitude for the congratulations, underlining the significance of European integration.

In her response in both Hungarian and English, Siljanovska Davkova expressed her gratitude to President Sulyok, stating, “Respected President Sulyok, thank you for your congratulations. Let us continue our cooperation towards strengthening and deepening our excellent Macedonian-Hungarian relations and working together to advance the European integration project,” reads the press release of the Siljanovska Davkova’s team.
