Skopje, 14 July 2024 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi said Sunday that the attempted assassination of former U.S. president Donald Trump is an attack on democracy. 

"The assassination attempt on presidential candidate Trump is an attack on democracy and is condemned by all of us who believe in the values ​​of democratic pluralism. I wish former president Trump a speedy recovery, confident that the United States has enough strength to overcome this incident to continue to be the flag of democracy in the world," Gashi posted on Facebook.
