Four burn patients to be discharged from Sofia's Pirogov Hospital
- Four patients who were treated in Sofia's Pirogov Hospital after being injured in the Kochani nightclub fire will be released for home treatment on Tuesday.

Sofia, 8 April 2025 (MIA) - Four patients who were treated in Sofia's Pirogov Hospital after being injured in the Kochani nightclub fire will be released for home treatment on Tuesday.
Head of the hospital's burns and plastic surgery unit, Maya Argirova, told BTA that the four patients are in good condition. Referrals for further treatment have been set up, laboratory follow-up of their clinical status is under way, and possibly a new surgical stage is to be assessed depending on their condition.
Four other patients injured in the Kochani fire remain for treatment in the Pirogov Hospital.
The hospital's press centre said they are in a serious but stable condition and remain in intensive care. Multiple interventions are pending for their recovery.
The fire that broke out at the Pulse nightclub in Kochani killed 61 people and left almost 200 injured. Some of the injured were transferred to other countries for medical treatment. A total of 15 burn patients were transferred to Bulgaria and treated in hospitals in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna.
