Skopje, 22 April 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Tuesday with Qatari Chargé d'affaires, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, and Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Satybaldy Burshakov.

FM Mucunski and Qatari Chargé d'affaires, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, reaffirmed the traditionally friendly bilateral relations and committed to enhancement of the political dialogue and exchange of high-level visits, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.

Interlocutors highlighted the need for promotion of economic ties and a higher number of direct investments from Qatar in the country.

FM Mucunski and Kazakh Ambassador Burshakov agreed that bilateral relations are good while noting the need for their enhancement, especially in the field of economy.

Mucunski and Burshakov also voiced satisfaction from the excellent multilateral cooperation and mutual support of countries' candidacies within international organizations, reads the press release.
