Education Minister Janevska meets Hungarian Ambassador Klein
- Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska met Monday with Hungarian Ambassador András Klein, discussing educational cooperation between the two countries so far and possibilities to develop new initiatives in the coming period.
Skopje, 27 January 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska met Monday with Hungarian Ambassador András Klein, discussing educational cooperation between the two countries so far and possibilities to develop new initiatives in the coming period.
"Janevska said cooperation with European Union countries is extremely important for Macedonia, because positive European practices are integrated into the national education system, which accelerates the country's progress. She expressed satisfaction that the Hungarian side, through the Stipendium Hungaricum program, has been providing financial support for scholarships for Macedonian students in undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies at state universities in Hungary," the Education Ministry said in a press release.
Ambassador Klein gave further details on the agenda of the upcoming Western Balkans Summit on Culture, Education and Innovation, organized by the Hungarian Ministry of Culture and Innovation and set to take place on February 3 and 4 in Budapest, where Minister Janevska will also be in attendance.
