Skopje, 4 April 2025 (MIA) — The international clarinet festival Clarifest Skopje will open with a concert by clarinet students from music schools across the country. They will perform at the Cultural and Information Center's Salon 19:19, beginning at 6 pm.

According to organizers, this year's festival will offer several clarinet seminars and concerts. It will feature German clarinetist Nicolai Pfeffer and Hungarian clarinetist Gábor Varga, both clarinet professors and international clarinet soloists. They will hold two-day clarinet seminars for members of the public.

Clarifest Skopje 2025 will close on April 6 with a chamber concert at Salon 19:19 featuring guest soloists from Germany and Hungary, accompanied on piano by Macedonian pianist Elena Atanasovska-Ivanovska. 

Admission to both concerts is free.

This is the 7th time the annual festival has taken place. It is organized by Artistico, an association for promoting culture and the arts. mr/
