Summer flights schedule starts with 10 new destinations from Skopje and Ohrid airports: TAV
- The summer flights schedule from both Macedonian airports operated by TAV Macedonia starts this Sunday (March 29) and it will add a total of 10 new destinations - 6 new routes from Skopje International Airport: Naples, Budapest, Palermo, Alghero, Trabzon and Samsun, as well as 4 new routes from Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport – Milan, Vienna, Wroclaw, Katowice.
Skopje, 27 March 2026 (MIA/TAV) - The summer flights schedule from both Macedonian airports operated by TAV Macedonia starts this Sunday (March 29) and it will add a total of 10 new destinations - 6 new routes from Skopje International Airport: Naples, Budapest, Palermo, Alghero, Trabzon and Samsun, as well as 4 new routes from Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport – Milan, Vienna, Wroclaw, Katowice.
All 10 new routes that will be launched with the summer flights schedule at Skopje and Ohrid airports this year represent a significant step forward towards route networks expansion. It will enable better connectivity of the country with new attractive destinations, it will open new leisure opportunities for our esteemed passengers on departures, which were very much requested and needed, but at the same time it will contribute to the incoming tourism by bringing foreign tourists in Macedonia, through Skopje International Airport and Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport. The season starts with the launch of the new route Milan-Ohrid this Sunday on 29th March, TAV said in a press release.

Then on Monday, 30th March, the new flights Skopje-Naples will start and the flights Skopje- Budapest will be back on the regular flights schedule.
"I am confident that all new destinations will create great interest among passengers and will contribute to the continuity of the double digit passenger traffic growth we are marking since the start of 2026 at the two Macedonian airports”, stated Nejat Kurt, TAV Macedonia General Manager.
On 29th March, Sunday, Wizz Air is launching the new route Milan-Ohrid, while on 30th March the airline will start to fly from Skopje to Naples, as a new attractive destination in Italy, at the same time bringing back the regular route from our capital to Hungary capital – Budapest.
As of 2nd and 3rd June, Anadoly Jet will connect Skopje Airport to Trabzon and Samsun, while as of 15th and 18th of July, Wizz Air will connect the Macedonian capital to Palermo (Sicily) and Alghero (Sardinia).

Within the summer flights schedule 2026, that starts at the end of March and ends at the end of October, 15 airlines will fly to 54 destinations from Skopje Airport, including the regular year-round flights and the seasonal flights, while at the same time 7 airlines will fly to 24 charter destinations, which is a total of 78 destinations from the Macedonian capital.
From Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport, in the summer flights schedule, 8 airlines will fly to 17 destinations out of which 14 are regular year-round and seasonal destinations, while three are chartered flights.
After the launch of the new flights from Ohrid to Milan, in June Wizz Air will start to fly from Wroclaw and Katowice to Ohrid. As of 17th May, Austrian Airlines will launch flights from Ohrid to Vienna. Earlier this month, on 17th March, Wizz Air already started to fly from Ohrid to Bratislava.

TAV Macedonia, a subsidiary of TAV Airports, a member of the ADP Groupe, finished the first two months of 2026 with 539.474 passengers at both Skopje International Airport and Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport. This is a 31% increase in the number of passengers compared to the same period in 2025. At the same time the number of flights (3.766) grew by 14%.
