Mickoski – Varnes: Joint commitment for further enhancement of relations between North Macedonia and U.S.
Skopje, 17 February 2026 (MIA) - Promoting bilateral cooperation, the joint priorities, and opportunities for the enhancement of the partnership between the two countries in areas of mutual interest were the topics discussed Tuesday at a meeting between Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and the United States Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires Nicole Varnes.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Mickoski stressed the meeting took place in a friendly spirit and a joint commitment for further enhancement of relations.
“Today I met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States, Nicole Varnes. We discussed promoting bilateral cooperation, our joint priorities and the opportunities for the enhancement of our partnership in areas of mutual interest. The meeting passed in the spirit of friendship, open dialogue, and a joint commitment for further enhancement of relations,” the Prime Minister wrote.
