Taravari: 300 resident doctors to be employed by year’s end

Skopje, 24 July 2024 (MIA) - Health Minister Arben Taravari said the Government decided Wednesday to employ 300 resident doctors by the end of the year.

“One more fulfilled promise. By the end of the year, 300 resident doctors will be employed, as well as an additional 300 next year. Upon the proposal of the Ministry of Health, at a government session today we assessed and adopted the report on the employment of resident doctors necessary for the public health institutions in North Macedonia in 2024,” Taravari wrote in a social media post.

With this decision, Taravari said, the Finance Ministry is tasked with securing additional funds of Mden 38.000.000 by December 2024 for the employment of 300 resident doctors.
