Skopje, 12 February 2025 (MIA) - First Deputy PM and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Izet Mexhiti met Wednesday with Slovenia's Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Anžej Frangeš, and the country's Ambassador Gregor Presker, discussing the challenges and opportunities of European integration, strengthening of bilateral cooperation and regional stability.

"Slovenia has always been a strong partner and supporter of our country and the region. Its support and experience are of exceptional importance in accelerating our reforms and progress towards the EU," said Deputy PM Mexhiti.

He also highlighted the Government's commitment for a more stable and integrated Western Balkans, including the importance of cooperation with international partners in this process, the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning said in a press release.
