Skopje, 1 March 2025 (MIA) - The Lab Design Market showroom and community of Macedonian designers and artisans is celebrating its first anniversary at Skopje's Laboratorium on Saturday with an event in collaboration with BIG SEE Macedonia.  

As part of the cooperation between the Macedonian showroom Lab Design Market and the BIG SEE architecture and design platform based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, the Macedonian studio of the Slovenian organization will present the winners from North Macedonia in the fashion and product design category that the BIG SEE platform has been awarding annually since 2018. 

"The Lab Design Market team, BIG SEE Macedonia and Laboratorium invite all good design lovers to celebrate the birthday of the only showroom in our country at this one-day event," reads the invitation for the event.  

The event features a showcase with designers including Marija Miloshevska, Evgenija Zafirovska, Dragan Hristov, Katerina Trpkovska, Dea Beatovikj, Marta Grnarovska Naumovska, and moderator Ana Bojadzhievska, BIG SEE Macedonia coordinator. In addition, 

In addition, the exhibition "From Concept to Award - BIG SEE Design Stories" is on display at Laboratorium, followed by a birthday party for Lab Design Market. 

BIG SEE comes from South-East Europe, and it started in early 2000s as a Slovene national promotor of quality architecture and design, hosting two national and international awards, trade shows, conferences and events to trigger and push through urgent changes in the ways people live and work and above all consume.
