Skopje, 15 April 2025 (MIA) — The heating season officially ends today, April 15, but the heating network will be in service through the end of April and provide heating if outside temperatures drop below 12°C, the Energy Regulatory Commission said in a press release.

According to the release, the end of the heating season is followed by a so-called transitional period, which lasts until April 30.

"Until the end of April, if the average outside temperature in the forecast for the next day is equal to or lower than 12 degrees Celsius, the supplier has a duty to provide heating that ensures room temperatures of 20+1 degrees Celsius from 6 pm to 10 pm," the Energy Regulatory Commission said, citing national regulations. mr/
