Skopje, 20 April 2025 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi extended on Sunday greetings to all Christian faithful on the occasion of Easter.

"In these bright days of joy and spiritual renewal, allow me, on my personal behalf and on behalf of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia, to congratulate you on the Easter holidays. The Easter message is a message of hope and renewal. This significant holiday is an opportunity to once again remind ourselves that shared values ​​such as mutual respect, solidarity and kindness are essential for the progress of every society," reads the greeting. 

As citizens of our common homeland, it adds, our duty is to build together bridges of understanding, harmony and peace, which will be a solid foundation for a prosperous and stable future.

"May these Easter days be filled with family happiness, personal joy and shared peace, encouraging us to face all challenges through positive examples and mutual support. To all of you, dear friends, I wish you peace, good health and well-being, and to spend Easter in warmth and love with your loved ones," Speaker Gashi said congratulating Easter.
