Kiev, 24 April 2025 (dpa/MIA) - The death toll in a Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital Kiev has risen to at least 12, with more than 90 others injured, the city's military administration said on Thursday.
Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said at least six children were killed in the overnight strikes, which included ballistic missiles and drones.
Emergency services are continuing to search for survivors under the ruins, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko told the UNIAN news agency.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky cut short his visit to South Africa on Thursday following the attack.
US President Donald Trump has also condemned the attack.
