All patients from Kochani and Shtip transferred to Skopje, 26 more to be sent abroad by day's end
- Health Minister Arben Taravari said at a press conference on Monday that of the three new patients transferred from Kochani to Skopje due to the fire, two are being treated at the Skopje Clinical Centre and one at the General Hospital ‘8 September.’ Therefore, there are no patients from the nightclub tragedy in the hospitals in Kochani and Shtip.

Skopje, 17 March 2025 (MIA) – Health Minister Arben Taravari said at a press conference on Monday that of the three new patients transferred from Kochani to Skopje due to the fire, two are being treated at the Skopje Clinical Centre and one at the General Hospital ‘8 September.’ Therefore, there are no patients from the nightclub tragedy in the hospitals in Kochani and Shtip.
“That was our strategy, to transfer all patients to Skopje and gradually place them in the Clinical Centre, so they could be treated at the level of tertiary healthcare,” Taravari said.
He stated that there are currently 84 patients in Skopje and by the end of the day, 26 more will be sent to other countries. Four patients will be transferred to Slovenia, four to Croatia, six to Austria and twelve to Belgrade.
A total of 58 patients will remain in the country by the end of the day.
Taravari said that the condition of all the patients is stable and is being closely monitored.
