Security Council to convene after latest developments in the Middle East

Skopje, 1 March 2026 (MIA) – After having consultations, President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova has scheduled a Security Council session, set to take place Sunday at 6 pm.
Security Council members will discuss the country’s security after the latest military escalation in the Middle East, the President’s Office said.
The Security Council is the country’s top advisory body, which discusses issues related to the security and defense of the Republic and puts forward proposals to Parliament and the government.
The Security Council is chaired by President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova. Other members include Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, Minister of Interior Pance Toshkovski, Minister of Defense Vlado Misajlovski and Timcho Mucunski, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, as well as Xhevdet Hajredini, Malinka Ristevska Jordanova, and Vlado Spiridonov.
