Skopje, 1 June 2026 (MIA) - OKTA AD - Skopje is introducing a temporary discount of Mden 2 per liter on 95- and 98-octane gasoline, as part of its efforts to support the domestic fuel market. The measure will be in effect from June 2 to June 16, 2026.

The company said the decision was made as a result of the movements of fuel prices on international markets, as well as part of the continued communication with the Government, aimed at softening the price shock on the citizens and the economy.

The discount will apply for all traders who procure fuel from OKTA, both in wholesale and retail.

OKTA said the measure makes it possible for retailers to pass the savings on to end consumers but stressed that retailers will continue to set their own retail prices independently, in line with their commercial policies and market conditions.

According to assessments, OKTA’s total contribution aimed at supporting the market through such measures will exceed EUR 7 million.
