"I expect that we will see investments from the United Arab Emirates in Macedonia soon," he said.
"Our foreign ministers signed an agreement on economic cooperation. There is also an agreement on education and culture as well as an agreement on the protection of investors and on the avoidance of double taxation," he said.
"These agreements are a prerequisite for us to move on to the next level, and these are concrete investments and concrete projects we will see in Macedonia," he said.
Also, according to Nikoloski, the UAE government has offered its help to Macedonian companies to find new markets through Dubai, "which has become the East's trade center, especially in these complicated and turbulent times," he said.
The deputy PM also noted that Sharjah and Dubai businesspeople, whom the delegation met during the official visit, showed a great interest in potential investments in Macedonian tourism, infrastructure and the agricultural sector.
"I am looking forward to moving on to the second phase, which is developing concrete projects," he said.
"Soon, we'll see a delegation from the UAE in Macedonia as well as investments here," he said. mr/
