Skopje, 10 March 2026 (MIA) - The Government has decided to revoke the cannabis cultivation licenses of six companies, said spokesperson Marija Miteva on Tuesday.

Miteva told a press conference that the licenses have been revoked over operating irregularities after an inspection by a competent commission.

The number of companies, which license has been revoked, is now up to 12, after the Government initially rescinded six licenses last month due to series of irregularities - administrative, infrastructure, technological and human resources.

The license revokal is taking place after the Government launched extraordinary inspections of the 43 legal entities operating in the field of cannabis cultivation.
