GDP up 3.1 percent in Q1 2026: statistics

Skopje, 3 June 2026 (MIA) - Gross Domestic Product grew by 3.1 percent in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the first quarter of 2025, the State Statistical Office said Wednesday.
In Q1 2026, bigger increase was recorded in the sections Construction by 7.2 percent and Professional, scientific and technical activities; Administrative and support service activities by 6.1 percent.
Final consumption in the Q1 2026 increased nominally by 7.3 percent and its share in the GDP structure was 86.4 percent.
Gross Capital Formation in the Q1 2026 increased nominally by 1.8 as a result of the increase in Gross Fixed Capital Formation.
According to seasonally and calendar-adjusted data, the growth rate of Gross Domestic Product in Q1 2026, compared to Q1 2025, was 3.3 percent.
