Skopje, 8 March 2026 (MIA) – Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi sent greetings to all women on the occasion of International Women’s Day – March 8, expressing gratitude and respect for their strength, dedication, and contributions to society.

In his message, Gashi emphasized that March 8 serves as a reminder of the significant role of women in public and social life, highlighting that their contributions are invaluable in every sphere.

“This special day gives us the opportunity to highlight the importance of women’s participation in public life, to recognize your unparalleled contributions in every area of society, and to reaffirm that women are the strong pillar of humanity,” Gashi stated.

He added that this day is not only a time for reflection but also a pledge and commitment to advance, guarantee, and protect women’s rights.

“Respecting mothers within the family and fairly valuing women in public life is a moral and human duty. Dear ladies, I sincerely wish you a happy March 8. Continue to be the strength, wisdom, and virtue of our society,” Gashi said.
