FinMin: €14.2 million in new support for domestic companies, two tranches transferred to Development Bank

Skopje, 23 December 2025 (MIA) – Ministry of Finance has transferred two new tranches from the central budget to the Development Bank to support domestic companies. The payments include a tranche of Mden 305 million and another of Mden 568 million, totaling Mden 873 million (€14.2 million).
According to the Ministry of Finance, following these tranche payments, total government support for the domestic economy stands at €217.6 million, out of the €250 million earmarked for aiding domestic companies.
The government secured funds through a credit line from Hungary’s Export-Import Bank to support domestic economy. Companies can access the funds via commercial banks under favourbale terms: 1.95% annual interest, up to 15 years repayment, and a grace period of up to 3 years, aimed at financing private investment and boosting economic growth.
The total state support for domestic companies planned in the budget is €250 million, while the overall investment cycle is estimated to be around €300 million.
