Deputy PM Nikoloski meets Mubadala Investment Company’s Deputy CEO
- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski and members of the Macedonian delegation composed of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, Government Secretary General Igor Janushev, Free Zones Directorate head Goce Dimovski, met Wednesday in Abu Dhabi with Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, Deputy CEO of the Mubadala Investment Company.

Skopje, 16 April 2025 (MIA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski and members of the Macedonian delegation composed of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, Government Secretary General Igor Janushev, Free Zones Directorate head Goce Dimovski, met Wednesday in Abu Dhabi with Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, Deputy CEO of the Mubadala Investment Company.
According to a press release by the Ministry of Transport, at the meeting Nikoloski presented the opportunities offered by the country to foreign investors, as well as potential opportunities for investment.
Deputy Prime Minister Nikoloski said the meeting is a good opportunity to open new perspectives between the two countries, stressing “Macedonia’s excellent location, which provides investors with an advantage in the region and direct connection to the markets in Central Europe”.
At the meeting, Nikoloski also presented investment opportunities in tourism, infrastructure and agriculture. He presented the country’s infrastructure development plan, with a special emphasis on the modernization of transport corridors.
Interlocutors at the meeting exchanged ideas on supporting entrepreneurship and the private sector in technology, innovations, renewable sources of energy and other sectors.
Mubadala is a US$302 billion investment company that operates on six continents in various sectors, the Ministry said.
The meeting was held as part of the Government’s official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
