CMC: Nine active fires, four under control
Skopje, 8 September 2026 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said Tuesday that 16 fires were registered nationwide, of which three have been extinguished, nine are active, and four are under control.
The CMC said the active fires were registered in the municipalities of Struga, Makedonski Brod (2), Kichevo, Tetovo, Zhelino, Gostivar (2), and Dolneni.
Fires in the municipalities of Kichevo, Saraj, Delchevo and Chucher-Sandevo are under control, while fires in Novo Selo, Prilep, and Krushevo have been extinguished.
