Skopje, 6 August 2026 (MIA) - The Crisis Management Center (CMC) said early on Thursday that 20 fires were registered nationwide over the past day, 18 of which have been extinguished.

A fire in the municipality of Makedonski Brod is still active, while the one in Delchevo is under control. 

The CMC said the extinguished fires were registered in the municipalities of Karposh, Petrovec, Butel, Bitola (2), Bogdanci, Prilep, Dolneni, Kavadarci, Negotino, Vinica, Lipkovo, Kratovo, Rankovce, Zhelino, Tearce, and Gostivar (2).
