Skopje, 12 March 2025 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski expects five Judicial Council members to demonstrate moral responsibility after the Parliament adopted no-confidence motions against them.
"I expect them to demonstrate moral responsibility and leave the posts they have captured, because they have no credibility to occupy them," PM Mickoski told reporters on Wednesday.
Parliament adopted Tuesday the no-confidence motions against Judicial Council members Vesna Dameva, Pavlina Crvenkovska, Milazim Mustafa, Tanja Chacharova Ilievska and Selim Ademi, who were elected to the post by the Parliament. The motions, however, do not result in automatic dismissals of the members from the Judicial Council.
According to the Law on Judicial Council, the members themselves decide whether they will step down from their posts.
