Skopje, 18 December 2025 (MIA) - The General Assembly of the Association of Local Self-Government Units (ZELS) will hold a constitutive session in Skopje on Thursday.

As per its statute, the ZELS General Assembly takes place within three months from the local elections. Delegates will elect the members of the ZELS Management and Supervisory Boards, followed by the Management Board's session on election of a president and two vice-presidents.

Delegates will also discuss the ZELS Draft-Strategy 2026-2030, including the strategic goals for the next five years, the 2026 financial and action plans, as well as challenges that the local self-governments are facing.
