Skopje, 26 December 2025 (MIA) — Wet roads are reported nationwide, with moderate traffic outside urban areas and no delays at border crossings. Fog has reduced visibility to 50-100 meters at the Gjavato mountain pass and in Krushevo. There is also light snow at the Pletvar, Gjavato, Bukovo and Preseka mountain passes as well as in Krushevo.

As of Nov. 15, 2025, winter equipment in vehicles is mandatory until Mar. 15, 2026.

Landslides are possible along the routes of Katlanovo – Veles, Mavrovo – Debar – Struga, Vinica – Berovo and Kochani – Delchevo.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully, adjust their speed to weather conditions and follow traffic rules, signs and signals.
