Skopje, 25 December 2025 (MIA) - The midnight Christmas Mass was held at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Skopje during which the Bishop of Skopje and Strumica-Skopje Eparchy, Kiro Stojanov, delivered his Christmas message.
“As Catholic Christians, we conclude the Holy Jubilee Year 2025. It has been a year of forgiveness and grace from the Lord, and it is a jubilee because it marks the incarnation of Christ. God became incarnate to give us life, not just any life, but life in abundance. This is God’s merciful gift to humanity, which we as Christians must share with others, for the Jubilee is a celebration of all God’s people. God comes into the world as a human child, is born in Bethlehem, and lies in the manger as a true God and true man. This is our faith, and without this faith, Christmas would have no meaning,” Stojanov said in the message.
“Our world would indeed be different if we saw it through the light of Christmas, where God confirms the dignity of every human being. Jesus, the Son of God, walked the earth doing good and meeting people personally, fundamentally impacting them through these encounters. Dear brothers and sisters, as we celebrate Christmas, let us acknowledge our own dignity and advocate for the dignity of every person, every human being, from the first moment of life to the last. I wish you a Merry and Blessed Christmas – Christ is born!” stated Skopje Bishop and Strumica-Skopje Eparch Kiro Stojanov in his Christmas message.
