Skopje, 4 February 2026 (MIA) - Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski held a meeting Wednesday with the European Parliament’s rapporteur for North Macedonia, Thomas Waitz, which discussed the need to continue reforms in line with European standards.

“Today I met with the European Parliament’s rapporteur for Macedonia, Thomas Waitz. At the meeting we exchanged views on ongoing political and reform processes, the country’s European agenda, as well as the challenges and opportunities in the Euro-integration process,” Mickoski wrote in a post on his official Facebook page. 

According to Mickoski, a special emphasis was placed on the rule of law, institutional stability, and the need to continue reforms in line with European standards.
