Skopje, 15 February 2025 (MIA) – Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski is part of the PM Hristijan Mickoski-led delegation attending the Munich Security Conference (MSC) on February 14-16, considered the most important global forum on security issues, the Interior Ministry said.
“Security is the backbone of a stable country! Amid fresh global threats, Macedonia must be an active participant in international dialogue. Our role in NATO, regional stability and the fight against transnational organized crime are crucial not only for us, but also for the European security system. A strong Macedonia on the international stage! Our presence here shows that Macedonia is not only an observer, but also an active participant, a country with a vision and clear positions. We fight for our deserved place in Europe and for a safe, stable and prosperous future for all citizens,” Toshkovski wrote in a Facebook post.
On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, the Macedonian delegation held bilateral talks with the Croatian delegation, led by PM Andrej Plenkovic, that focused on joint challenges, the EU integration process and ways to enhance mutual cooperation.
