Skopje, 6 November 2024 (MIA) - President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova has congratulated Donald Trump after he claimed victory in the U.S. presidential election.

"Sincere congratulations to the President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, and much success in the responsible work," the President said in a Facebook post. 

She points out that Macedonia, as a proven friend and partner of the United States, will continue to support American and global efforts for peace, stability and security, based on the need for justice, respect for international law, freedom and human dignity in the world.

"I am confident that in the coming period our strategic partnership will be promoted and enriched, and that the United States will help in achieving the Macedonian strategic goals," Siljanovska Davkova notes.
