Skopje, 22 March 2025 (MIA) - Fifty-four patients from the Kochani nightclub fire are currently treated in the country, after ten were sent home yesterday, said Health Minister Arben Taravari on Saturday.

Minister Taravari said 27 patients are treated in the Clinical Center, 11 in the "September 8" General Hospital, 10 in the City Hospital, and six in private clinics.

Of the 115 patients treated abroad, five are expected to return next week, while six are in critical condition.

"The good news that if 20 were in critical condition in the first few days, now that number has gone down to six," said Taravari and added that four are hospitalized in Belgrade and two in Ljubljana.

Regarding the ones to be released, they will come back from Italy, Spain, Sweden and Austria.

Asked about the injuries of patients in the country, the Health Minister said they are generally treated for burns but also fractures.
